Answers before your first signature
The essentials about the trial, signing, security, and teamwork.
What type of signature can I use?
SignFida supports drawn electronic signatures with an audit trail. Business and Enterprise also provide signing with a valid qualified certificate through BISS or InfoNotary Browser Signer. A drawn signature and a qualified signature are different signing methods.
Is the qualified signature created directly in the browser?
No. For qualified signing, SignFida prepares the document and the signature is created using BISS or InfoNotary Browser Signer and the signer's compatible certificate/device. Do not provide your private key or PIN to SignFida.
How does the free trial work?
Free has no time limit. The seven-day Business trial starts when Business is selected. Features and limits afterwards depend on the selected plan and subscription status.
How are documents protected?
Documents are stored encrypted and your connection to the site is protected. Access is restricted to users with the necessary permissions. You choose whom to share documents and folders with.
Can I invite employees?
Yes. On Business and Enterprise, the owner can invite employees, organize them into teams, and give each team access to selected workspaces. The employee uses a company seat and does not purchase a separate subscription.
What happens when the subscription expires?
Access depends on account status and the applicable plan. Free remains available within its limits; restricted accounts can view and download existing documents while operations outside the permitted scope are blocked.
Can several people sign the same document?
Yes. The owner and invited signers can sign in sequence. Existing signatures are retained in the next version, and the status shows how many expected signers have completed signing.
Does the recipient need an account?
An account is not required to sign through an invitation. The recipient opens the link, verifies their email, and signs. Team and workspace access requires an account. Downloading large files from an email also requires signing in with the recipient's verified email.
